Hamas fighters and civilian clothing: what the film presents
A Naza: The Real Story interview presents an account in which some attackers still looked like fighters after 7 October. Once the IDF entered the Strip, it says, the kit was gone, they wore civilian clothes and the fire chain stops.

Two pictures
On 7 October, and in the days after in the kibbutzim and the Gaza envelope communities, some of the attackers wore military-style kit. Those are the images that circulated most widely.
The interviewee describes a different picture once IDF forces entered the Strip: fighters in civilian clothes. The helicopter noise on the tape is a production element and is not part of the subject. The subject is the change of clothing.
People search for "Hamas uniform." According to the interview, the 7 October images do not show how the fighting inside Gaza looked, and the war there was fought against men who had already taken off the uniform.
Why the change
According to the interview, someone who looks like the 7 October footage can be classified by a drone, while someone who looks like a neighbor with a cart is harder to identify, and that bears on when fire is opened and when it stops. These are IDF-side accounts as the film presents them; other accounts of the same events exist and may differ.
