Huling na-update:
Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site and watch the film. This statement says honestly where we are.
Our aim and status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Israeli Standard 5568 and the European standard EN 301 549 build on earlier versions of the same guidelines.
Status: partially conforming. Most of the site meets the guidelines. The film does not yet meet them, as explained below.
What we have done
- The site, including the film player, is built to work with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is visible.
- A skip link, headings, landmarks and labelled form fields help screen-reader users. Each page declares its language and reading direction, including right-to-left for Hebrew and Arabic.
- Text and controls pass automated colour-contrast checks, and text can be enlarged with the accessibility panel or your browser.
- Animation follows your device’s “reduce motion” setting, and the hero image moves for only five seconds.
- An accessibility panel (the person icon in the header) lets you change text size, colours (light or high contrast), motion, text spacing, font, link emphasis and focus outlines. Your choices are saved only on your device.
- We test with automated tools (axe-core, WCAG 2.0 to 2.2) and by hand with a keyboard.
Known limitations
- The film has English subtitles burned into the picture. There is no separate caption track, no transcript and no audio description. The speech is in Hebrew, so deaf and hard-of-hearing Hebrew readers, and people using screen readers, do not yet have an equivalent (WCAG 1.2.2, 1.2.3 and 1.2.5).
- Some small uppercase labels are harder to read than they should be.
- Some translations may read less naturally than the English and Hebrew originals.
How this was assessed
Self-assessment by our team with automated and manual testing. Prepared 2026-10-04. We review the statement when the site changes.
