What is COGAT?
COGAT is Israel’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, the body that records trucks, food, and medicine entering Gaza.
COGAT sits between the IDF, the UN, and the crossings. It publishes truck counts, food tonnage, and water volumes. Those figures are cited in discussions of food supply and famine in Gaza.
Naza: The Real Story is not a film about COGAT. It follows soldiers. The soldiers describe working within COGAT’s map: a crossing open, a crossing under rocket fire, a convoy looted.
