# What is the Philadelphi Corridor?

Philadelphi is the strip along the Gaza–Egypt border that was used for smuggling under Hamas. Control of it is a recurring question in ceasefire talks.

The Philadelphi Corridor runs along Gaza’s border with Egypt. Under Hamas it was a smuggling route for weapons, money and people. Tunnels under the fence connected to the network known as the metro.

IDF control of the axis is debated in every ceasefire. The film’s soldiers describe operations against cells that were armed through those tunnels.

Aid trucks come from Israel. Rockets and rifles came through Philadelphi. Both are part of the same war.
