Naza The Real Story
Filmed at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, this Israeli documentary presents interviews about the Gaza war.
Rooftops. Night. Commanders telling it as they lived it.
Senior IDF commanders and intelligence officers, the people who ran the operations, sit on Tel Aviv rooftops and describe the war in Gaza: fighters in civilian clothes, hostages held in homes, aid trucks, and the rules for opening fire.
It is their account, in their own words. Watch it, then decide what you think.
What you'll hear in the film
- What was under the baby's crib? Officers describe a children's room with a tunnel shaft beneath the cot.
- How do you tell a terrorist from a civilian? Fighters in civilian clothes, and uniforms left behind in empty homes.
- A man walks up holding a child's hand. Now what? A checkpoint decision, told by the soldiers who had to make it.
- Where did the aid trucks end up? Commanders say convoys were taken over at gunpoint. They describe what they saw.
- Who decides when to fire? Approvals, lawyers, and one rule: if there's doubt, you don't fire.
- Did the hostages' medicine ever arrive? Sent by a precise list. The officers say no hostage reported receiving it.
